Throughout her career, muralist Charmaine Minniefield’s public art has preserved and uplifted the stories of Black people and communities. So she was not surprised when the summer of 2020 after the killing of George Floyd by police in Minneapolis set off an international focus on social justice, that Black artists in metro Atlanta found themselves on the front lines.
